I have been
writing other people's stories for many years now.
I guess it is about time that I wrote my stories.
I was an attorney
in private practice in Los Angeles, California. My "trade" was
civil litigation. My
"forte" was representing California-based corporations and their
managers in the defense of claims of wrongdoing arising out of the employment
relationship. As such, I have written professionally about the stories
of the people who have sued my clients, my clients and the people whose lives
touched those people.
As an attorney,
my stories had to accurately conform to the facts learned through the
litigation process. In my new role as a story teller, I am not so constrained.
I will rely on my senses, observations, perception and memory.
